I had dope conversation after dope conversation the past couple weeks with smartass Latinas, fellow Filipinas, and other women of color about lineage, legacy, ancestry, heritage, civics, activism and American identity. When we share our family stories, deeply and honestly, the most magical things happen. What an appropriate way to lead up to two days of convening to discuss Latinos and civic participation.
